About Merri Arts 

At Merri Arts, we hold an an ecocentric view of our more than human world, where we are intrinsically part of nature.

 We view human (child and adult) development through with a soulful, wholeness based approach that and seeks to foster strengths, awareness and creativity to support flourishing and navigating the life journey. 

We believe that engaging in the arts can have transformative benefits for all, no matter your age or stage.

Our studio is a professional art studio, complete with eclectic rustic charm. It is a welcoming space in a converted warehouse just near Yarra Bend. 

We strive to esnure that it is a peaceful, comfortable and inspiring environment for you to work in.

We have plenty of space and materials for you to work with. You don't need any experience or artistic skill, just be willing to participate and respect others right to do the same.

Our founder, Rebecca Bey is a facilitator and artist with 25 years leading teams as well as  designing and facilitating programs across public health, tech and the arts. 

Rebecca is currently completing her MA in Creative Art Therapy at MIECAT. Other studies include a BA (Fine Arts); Grad Dip, Art Curatorship and Grad Dip in Psychology from Melbourne Uni, as well as a Grad Cert in Leadership and Management, NIODA. An ever present love of learning has lead her to complete many additional programs in areas such as Co-Design and Complex Facilitation. Rebecca is also an accredited Work That Reconnects, Spiral Journey (Joanna Macy) Facilitator.
