Merri Arts is based in a professional art studio, complete with eclectic rustic charm. It is a welcoming collaborative space, with multiple zones and spaces set over 3 floors in a converted warehouse in Northcote South, just near Yarra Bend.

We have plenty of space and materials for you to work with. You don't need any experience or artistic skill, just be willing to participate and respect others right to do the same.

Our founder, Rebecca Bey is a facilitator and artist with 25 years leading teams and programs across public health, tech and the arts.
Rebecca is currently completing her MA in Creative Art Therapy at MIECAT. Other studies include a BA, Melbourne University (Fine Arts); Grad Dip, Art Curatorship and Grad Dip in Psychology from Melbourne U

Rebecca is currently completing her MA in Creative Art Therapy at MIECAT. Other studies include a BA, Melbourne University (Fine Arts); Grad Dip, Art Curatorship and Grad Dip in Psychology from Melbourne University, as well as a Grad Cert in Leadership and Management, NIODA. She also has a current working with children check.
Creative collaborators including teachers, therapists, and artists support and guide different programs at Merri Arts depending on requirements. They are all well vetted and hold working with children checks and appropriate levels of experience.
